Rejoice, craft beer lovers! You can now brew your own beer at home thanks to the Pico, a compact 16″ × 12″ × 14″ (height × width × depth) brewer from PicoBrew.
Pico makes the brewing process a no-brainer – all you need is insert a prepackaged ingredient pack (called PicoPak) into the Pico, add water, and adjust the ABV (alcohol by volume) value and the bitterness level to suit your taste. Then give Pico two hours to churn out 5-liter mini-kegs of beer at time (you will of course need to give it a few additional weeks for fermentation).
With over 100 varieties of PicoPaks to choose from (including ones from commercial brands such as Dogfish Head, Elysian, Rogue and Dieu du Ciel), the hardest part of using Pico could well be deciding which PicoPak to use. PicoPaks will cost $19 each (or more, depending on the brand).
Pico ships in May 2016, and you can pre-order at a discounted price of $699 (the retail price will be $999).
